This winter we donated over 3,000 articles of clothing to various non-profits across the U.S. These items included sweatshirts, fleece jackets, t-shirts, beanies, gloves, scarves and baseball hats given to other non-profit groups in the San Francisco Bay Area including: The Bay Area Rescue Mission, The Bay Area Crisis Nursery, Ruby’s Place, homeless shelters sponsored by local churches and CRECE. In addition, we gave hundreds of winter items to non-profits in other states including the Sunnyvale Neighborhood Center, DIA, and ISAT in Salt Lake City and a Lakota Reservation in South Dakota. These donations provided much needed warmth for thousands. I was lucky enough to hand deliver many of these items and see the joy on people’s faces as they immediately put on their new clothing items. We would like to thank West Coast Novelty for donating these wonderful items. Also thank you to all the volunteers who helped sort and deliver.
